These are few of my great reads in 2015. I love watching horror movies and reading them is all the more worthwhile. I haven’t read enough horror books as I wanted. But after Bob Ong’s Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan, this was the next book that gave me the chills and creeps. I was reading them in between calls and I would literally startle everytime a beep comes thru my phone.

So I know right then that I need to have a physical book. Unfortunately, after I read the ebook and decided I wanted them on my collection, they were all gone from the bookstores.
But thankfully @littleloomlover held a January sale that allowed me to.purchase all three of them. It may have minimal crease here and there but since it was covered, I had to let go of that slip up.

It was another impulsive buy. But can you blame me? I’ve been meaning to buy It, but didn’t have the heart to do it yet. So when I saw that it was just for P75 at #BookSale, I knew right there and then that I got to have it. It may not have been my finest buy with all those creases and stuff. But with the price I had to pay? I really wouldn’t mind.
Gone girl have been on my feed for some time, and since I’ve been wanting to watch the movie, so I think I want to read the book first.

A book that was originally written in a different language
This book was translated from Swedish. This has been on my to read list since I read this from @kirstymoseley’s alternate ending of #EnjoyingtheChase in Wattpad.
It took me 12 days to finish this book. This has been one of the longest time I’ve read a book. I’ve put it down so much that I was surprised I was even able to finish.
The plot was good. I just think it took a lot of pages to establish the twists. The first pages were draggy. It started to be intriguing after about 200 pages or so.
But when it did reach the peak of my curiosity, it did not disappoint. So I’m still giving it a 4/5 rating.

I wonder why I haven’t read this book earlier. This has been on my to be read list for months now. But have only gotten into it yesterday. Most of my readings lately is from a physical book. And this is the break I’ve been waiting for. It was well worth it.
I rarely get teary eyed from these kind of novels, but I actually did while reading The Pact. Which is kind of weird, since I was in a public transpo when I did. I got a lot of feels on this one. Mixed emotions. And just the right amount of sexy romance.
